This fabric has the same properties as Cottona’s Outdoor Dralon; UV and weather resistant with Teflon treated. With summary table styling, start with the basics: the tablecloth. Because we enjoy eating outside in the sun, we choose a UV-resistant garden tablecloth. Cotton or linen is not suitable for use in the sun, the fabric will quickly fade. Cottona’s special outdoor collection is UV resistant. Perfect! Available in beautiful uni colors such as white, beach and light gray and in cheerful stripe designs in yellow, blue and red. With the round placemats from Cottona you can give your garden table an Ibiza look in no time! The placemats are available in two colours: natural and black. We have developed two looks for inspiration. Which do you like the most?
Garden table setting in Ibiza beach look
We used a tablecloth in the color rice from Cottona’s outdoor collection as a basis. Cottona also makes custom tablecloths, also in outdoor fabric. You can easily order online at www.cottona.nl. Everything is made in our own studio and usually shipped within one working day. The eye-catchers on this table are the round placemats in Ibiza look!
The crockery in soft blue is from Broste Copenhagen. The napkins in the color sand come from Cottona’s cotton collection. The luxurious white napkin rings provide the finishing touch. For the table decoration, let yourself be inspired by the sea and the beach. Shells, glasses filled with beach sand and candles.
Garden table setting in Saint-Tropez look
We used a tablecloth in the color light gray from Cottona’s outdoor collection as a base. The eye-catchers on this table are the black round placemats in Ibiza look!
The crockery in summer yellow is from Pomax. The luxurious black gold napkin rings provide a bit of glamour. For the table decoration, let yourself be inspired by the luxury of the Côte d’Azur; oysters, lemons and limes and champagne in illuminated champagne coolers.
Enjoy the summer!
Everyone is familiar with the trend, using natural materials within our home interior. In our last blog post ‘Maison et object’ we wrote about using this trend for table decoration. We highlighted the attention to handwork and the desire to surround ourselves with pure materials from nature and the countryside. However, whats new is the frequent use of leather! Not just the usual leather sofa or chair. For instance, take a look at Arte with a beautiful wallpaper made of leather in the collection. Then this leather patchwork rug it’s a real eye catcher. JP Walker even makes leather kitchens, creating a very exclusive, trendy look with a soft touch.
